이날 국회 기획재정위원회 서영교 의원과(더불어민주당, 중랑갑)과 위원장인 박대출 의원(국민의힘, 진주갑)은 질의 순서를 두고 갈등을 빚었다.

박대출 의원은 국감에 앞서 “대구에서 진행되는 만큼 지역의 의원들에게 먼저 질의할 기회를 드리는 것에 양해를 구한다.”고 밝히며 김상훈 의원(대구 서구), 주호영 의원(대구 수성갑), 류성걸 의원(대구 동구갑)에게 우선적으로 나설 기회를 주었다.

이에 질의 순서가 뒤로 밀린 서영교 의원은 “저희도 상임위원장을 해봤지만 이런 적은 없었다. 누가 먼저 하든 상관은 없지만 저희는 직전에 이야기를 들어 당황스러웠다.”며 불편한 심기를 내비쳤다.

이에 서 의원은 “위원장님께서 저희들에게 이야기를 해 주시면 좋지 않았겠나?”라고 반문하며 “호남에 가있는 간사님과 얘기가 되었다고 말씀하시는 것보다 저희에게 직접 소통을 좀 하면 좋겠다.”고 꼬집었다.

박대출 의원은 서 의원에 지적에 “앞에 양해를 구했는데 그렇게 말씀하시는 것이 야박하게 생각된다.”고 맞섰지만 서 의원 역시 “제 입장에 대한 위원장님의 답변도 야박하게 생각된다”며 한 치도 물러서지 않는 팽팽한 신경전을 이어갔다.

반면 대구지방국세청, 대구본부세관, 한국은행 대구경북‧포항 본부에 대한 국정감사는 큰 이슈없이 무난하게 진행되면서 일각에서는 여야가 서로 간 힘겨루기에 몰두하느라 정작 국정감사는 맹탕으로 치러지는 것이 아닌가 하는 우려 또한 제기되고 있다.
