국민의힘 대선 경선 후보인 홍준표 후보가 20일 오전 대구 수성구 국민의힘 대구시당을 찾아 '대장동비리 관련 특검"을 거듭 촉구했다. 

기자회견을 자청한 홍준표 후보는 “대장동 게이트의 몸통인 이재명 후보가 온갖 말장난과 덮어씌우기로 국민을 기만했다”면서 “국정감사장에서 능구렁이처럼 넘어가는걸 보면서 어떻게 저렇게 능수능란하게 넘어갈 수 있나 생각했다”고 말했다.

이어 홍 후보는 “윤석열 후보가 본선 후보가 되면 범죄자 둘이 붙게 되니 우리는 이재명 후보를 탓할 수도 없다. 민주당이 피장파장 선거를 원하고 있는걸 국민들이 아셔야한다”면서 “국감장에서 이재명 후보의 태도를 봤지 않나? 윤 후보가 잡을 수 있겠나? 싸움을 해도 내가 잘하고 정책도 내가 낫다”며 자신감을 내비쳤다.
