【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=독도 주권 선포 122주년을 맞이한 가운데 대구교육청과 경북교육청이 이를 기념하며 행사를 실시했다.

올해는 대한제국 칙령 제 41호 반포(1900년 10월 25일) 122주년이 되는 해로 대구교육청과 경북교육청이 독도에 대한 관심과 사랑을 되새기고자 ‘2022 독도의 날 기념행사’를 실시했다.

이날 대구교육청은 직원들은 독도사랑 티셔츠를 입고 청사 내 '대한민국 교육수도 대구 표지석' 앞에 모여 ‘독도 사랑 결의 대회’를 가졌다.

 강은희 교육감은 “독도의 날 행사를 통해 직원뿐만 아니라 학생들이 독도에 대한 올바른 이해와 관심을 갖는 계기가 되길 바란다.”며, “독도의 날을 맞아 다시 한 번 독도의 역사적, 지리적, 환경적 가치를 되새겨 보는 시간을 가졌으면 좋겠다.”고 말했다.

같은날 오전 11시 경북교육청에서는 각 부서 과장, 장학관, 사무관 등 50여 명의 직원이 참석한 가운데 송기동 부교육감이 독도 영토 주권 선언문을 낭독을 통해 독도수호 결의를 다졌다.

아울러 오후에는  ‘전국독도사랑음악회’, ‘전국온라인독도퀴즈쇼’를 통해 독도 사랑을 되새기는 시간을 가졌다.

임종식 교육감은 “경북교육청은 독도 사랑을 널리 알리기 위해 다양한 사업을 진행하고 있으며, 특히 사이버독도학교 전국화 사업을 통해 온라인 독도교육에 앞장서고 있다”며 “앞으로 사이버독도학교 영문판 콘텐츠 구축을 통해 국내는 물론 전 세계인이 독도를 올바르게 인식할 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

In celebration of the 122nd anniversary of the declaration of sovereignty over Dokdo, the Daegu Office of Education and the Gyeongbuk Office of Education held an event to commemorate it.

This year marks the 122nd anniversary of the promulgation of Edict 41 of the Korean Empire (October 25, 1900).

On this day, the Daegu Office of Education employees wore Dokdo love T-shirts and gathered in front of the 'Korea Education Capital Daegu Signpost' to hold a 'Dokdo Love Resolution Contest'.

 Superintendent Kang Eun-hee said, “I hope that the Dokdo Day event will be an opportunity for students as well as employees to have a correct understanding and interest in Dokdo.” I hope to have time to reflect on it.”

At 11 a.m. on the same day, at the Gyeongbuk Office of Education, Deputy Superintendent Song Ki-dong reaffirmed the resolution to protect Dokdo by reading the Declaration of Dokdo Territorial Sovereignty in the presence of about 50 employees including department heads, academics, and administrators.

In the afternoon, they had time to reflect on the love of Dokdo through the 'National Dokdo Love Concert' and 'National Online Dokdo Quiz Show'.

Superintendent of Education Im Jong-sik said, “The Gyeongbuk Office of Education is carrying out various projects to spread the love of Dokdo, and in particular, is taking the lead in online Dokdo education through the cyber Dokdo School nationalization project. We will do our best to make sure the people of the world recognize Dokdo correctly.”
