공직자윤리위원회가 공직자윤리법 제10조의 규정에 따라 2021년도 정기 재산변동사항 신고 내역을 공개했다.

올해 대구시의 재산공개대상자 평균 신고 재산액은 8억 5,400만원으로 집계됐다. 경북의 재산공개대상자의 신고재산 평균은 8억 4900만원으로 알려진다.

이 가운데 권영진 대구시장은 지난해보다 1억1천500만원이 증가한 19억2천900만원을 신고 했다. 공시가격 상승에 따른 부동산 가액증가, 암진단 보험금 수령으로 인한 예금 증가 등으로 나타났다.

이철우 경상북도지사는 지난해 말 기준 전년보다 4천299만5천원 줄어든 15억2천810만8천원을 신고했다.

교육감 가운데에서는 강은희 대구교육감이 본인과 배우자, 차남 명의 재산 44억2883만원을 신고하여 지난해 재산에 2배 가까이 재산이 늘었으며 17개 시·도교육감 중 가장 재산이 많은 것으로 알려진다.
