8일 대구시에 따르면 0시 기준 코로나19 확진자 수는 전날보다 21명이 증가하여 비수도권 중 가장 많은 확진자가 발생했다.

주소지별로 수성구 5명, 달서구 4명, 북구, 동구, 달성군에서 각각 3명, 서구 2명, 남구 1명이 발생하였으며 추가 확진자 중 9명은 기존 확진자의 접촉자로 분류되었다.

또 다른 4명은 달서구 한 음식점 관련 접촉자, 2명은 북구 노인회 사무실 관련이고, 1명은 북구 한 음식점 관련으로 조사되었으며 1명은 해외유입 사례이다.

이 가운데 확진자 중 4명이 감염경로를 알 수 없어 방역 당국이 역학조사를 진행하고 있으며 감염원이 불분명한 확진자 발생이 지속적으로 이어지고 있어 코로나19 확산에 대한 우려 또한 커지고 있다.
