더불어민주당 지도부는 이날 오전 9시 호텔인터불고엑스코에서 ‘더불어민주당 대구경북 현장 최고위원회’를 진행한 뒤, 자리를 대구시청 별관으로 옮겨 지역균형뉴딜 현장 방문과 정책간담회를 이어나간다. 시청 별관에는 대구시 경제부시장인 홍의락 전 민주당 국회의원의 집무실이 있다.

더불어민주당 대구광역시당은 이번 현장 최고위원회의 및 지역균형뉴딜 현장방문 일정과 관련“소속 정당을 떠나 코로나19사태 후 더욱 악화되는 지역경제를 살리고 정부가 역점추진 하는 지역균형뉴딜의 성공을 위해 더불어민주당과 대구광역시가 앞으로 초당적 협력하겠다”는 입장을 나타냈다.

더불어민주당 경북도당은 이날 ‘(AI)능동형 스마트 리빙케어산업 육성’ 등 ‘디지털뉴딜’, ‘(전기차)안전신뢰기반 고성능 이차전지 기술개발사업’ 등 ‘그린뉴딜’, ‘(인재)경북형 스마트 인재 1만명 양성 프로젝트’ 등 ‘안전망강화’ 3분야 경북형뉴딜 역점사업과제를 비롯해 각 시군에서 검토된 지역균형뉴딜 사업과제에 대해 집중 논의하고 예산확보 방안을 강조할 것으로 알려지고 있다.
