아울러 마숙자 예비후보는 마을과 학교가 함께 아이를 키우는 마을교육공동체에 대한 확대 운영의 필요성을 강조하며 “다양한 교육환경에 있는 아이들을 소외받지 않게 하기 위해서는, 지역사회협력이 필수적이며 이를 위해 지역사회 교육 유관기관과 협력하여 마을 및 지자체 연계 돔봄교실 확대를 통한 돌봄 공백을 최소화 할 것” 이라고 전했다.
