마숙자 예비후보는 앞서 김준호 전 경북교육청연구원장, 이백효 전 구미교육장과의 단일화를 순조롭게 마치며 활발한 선거활동을 펼쳐왔지만 최근 임준희 예비후보와의 단일화 과정에서 난항을 겪고 있다.
