국민의힘 소속 의원들이 문재인 정부의 예산 운영에 대한 비판의 목소리를 냈다.

국민의힘 김형동 의원(경북 안동·예천)은 지난 13일 백신 생산시설 구축 및 가동 현황 점검을 위해 SK바이오사이언스 백신공장을 방문한 가운데 “한 치 앞도 못보는 정부의 예산운영이 백신확보 실패를 불러왔다”며 정부의 늑장대응을 비판했다.

그는 “코로나바이러스가 본격적으로 창궐한 2019년 12월 이후 추경이 4차례 이뤄졌지만 정부는 백신설비 구축을 위한 예산을 단 한 번도 반영하지 않았다”면서 “정부는 이번 2차 추경예산안에 백신설비 구축을 위한 백신 및 원부자재 생산설비 설치사업 예산으로 180억원을 편성했는데 ‘홍수 난 후 둑 쌓는 식’으로 백신생산시설을 구축하겠다는 것은 예산을 어디에, 어떻게 써야할지 모르는 까막눈 정부임을 자인한 것이다”라고 질타했다.
